Who are the Ivy League Sisters?
Hi, I'm Lauren Balukjian the founder of the Ivy League Sisters.
This community was born from the unspoken expectations and pressure many Ivy League women share in common but rarely openly discuss.
For nearly two decades, I thought I was the only one who tried to make it look effortless on the outside, but deep down felt like "enough was never enough."
Turns out, I'm in good company.
My story has its own unique twists and turns, but the underlying narrative for many Ivy League women is:
Despite my intelligence and capabilities, I'm still not enough.
This mindset seduces us with the "Ivy Dream" that promises when a certain level of achievement is attained, the lucrative pay, promotions of power, and opportunities of privilege, but it rarely makes space for us to slow down and hear our most sacred superpower as women: our intuition.
It wasn't until my husband unexpectedly pursued another love interest that I looked in the mirror and heard a whisper, "where did you go?"
The woman staring back at me was tired, confused, and lost. She was gripping what wasn’t hers anymore.

I'm calling BS on all the expectations that have been placed on us...
For the next year, I stripped away the masks telling me what I "should do" and asked myself what do I WANT to do? The more I hit pause on the chaos, the louder the voice became.
What I discovered along this journey was there were other women who felt the same as me.
Women who look like they have it all together, who attended elite schools, and who have grown up believing that their worth is tied to grades, accolades and promotions.
These women have been conditioned to compete, compare and criticize, and yet, what we really want is to know we're already enough.
I'm on a mission to lead a movement for high-achieving women to lift the veil of perfection, find the courage to get real and mentor each other along the way. If this speaks to you, I hope you'll be part of the journey.
Meet your sisters...
